Please join us for the first Arizona Wine Country Artists Village art fair, to be held in Old Town Cottonwood, Arizona on October 11, 12, 13, 2024 at the Old Town Activity Park at 187 E. Pima Street. This is the is the first and only art and fine-crafts show on the west side of the Verde Valley.
The Arizona Wine Country Artists Village is committed to showcasing the finest local and regional arts and fine-crafts. The promoters of the event are both local artists whose goal is to present a professionally run, quality event that benefits the attendees, the community, and the exhibiting artists.
Only 30 minutes from Sedona and 10 minutes from Jerome, Old Town Cottonwood is the hottest new tourism area in central Arizona. Old Town Cottonwood is home to ten wineries and tasting rooms, over a dozen excellent restaurants, shops, galleries, and more.
In early October 2023, Jerome resident Maynard James Keenan, lead singer for the rock bands Tool, Puscifer, and A Perfect Circle – and who is also a winemaker – opened a new, multi million-dollar state-of-the-art wine-making facility, tasting room, and restaurant on the same street as the Arizona Wine Country Artists Village. It is 1/2-block west of Main Street and the Artists Village is 1/2-block east of Main Street, both on Pima Street, almost immediately adjacent to one another. Maynard’s new attraction will position Cottonwood as a world-class wine tourism draw, in addition to the tourism that it already receives from nearby Sedona, Clarkdale, Jerome, and Camp Verde – and what pairs better with wine and fine-dining than art?
Visitors from the immediate region, the state, the Southwest, the US, and the world visit Cottonwood to partake of the outstanding food, excellent wine, beautiful scenery, fascinating history, and multiple outdoor activities. The event is held on a flat, grassy field that was once a baseball field and is city property. There are no trees in the field. The event is only steps from Main street and there is adequate parking for hundreds of visitors.
Please keep in mind that the majority of visitors to Old Town Cottonwood are domestic and international tourists who travel more than 8-hours to get here, although a significant number are regional tourists who come from Phoenix and Tucson because our climate is cooler in the hot weather months.
It is recommended that most of your items should be able to fit into a suitcase, or that you are prepared to ship larger items.
